For this project our client already had a wireless system that is installed in large retail outlets around the world. A new feature request had emerged to be able to feed alarm notifications into their existing system and IBEX was asked to develop a way to accomplish this.
Utilising an existing wireless transmitter PCB already designed for the client’s system meant that we didn’t need to meddle with how the system operated. Instead we designed our new PCB to generate signals that would trigger this existing PCB to send the necessary wireless notifications.
We then incorporated 8 individual inputs with various site specific interfacing settings, allowing the product to be connected to a wide variety of external sensors and systems to be monitored.
