Install

php.ini

Ensure your setting values are high enough for Elementor:

memory_limit: 256M

post_max_size: 8M

upload_max_filesize: 8M

Elementor plugins

Download Elementor Pro plugin from your Elementor account and install (its a Plugin not a Theme!)
It will auto-request install of the Elementor Plugin

The use the Elementor basic theme “Hello”

Install “Hello Elementor” theme (from wordpress gallery)

Important settings

Load Google fonts locally (for GDPR compliance)

Elementor > Settings > Performance > Load Google Fonts Locally = Enable

Exit from Elementor to WP Admin area

When editing a page press the Elementor logo top left > User Preferences > Navigation > Exit to: All posts
